The Last Mon Standing

according to legends, before swans die, they sing their last melodious but sad songs of lamentation- and this is called the SWAN SONG… today, writers use this term to signify their resignation from the pleasure of writing…

i was really optimistic when i started writing on my new blog. it definitely brought me into a whole new vista of interaction to a wider scope of people… but for a certain reason, i felt like i was abandoned by my old readers here in friendster, because none of then gave a single comment on my entries there… did they? they did not abandon me… i was the one who left…

but still, i did not bother… i wrote incessantly and endlessly… i cannot say that my blog was a great success, but for a beginner, i faired very well.

i thought of singing my swan song here, i thought of finally deleting this blog and focus on writing on my new found page. but everytime i type the characters, everytime my cursor blinks on my new domain, i was always envelope by an astounding feeling of nostalgia… an overwhelming feeling of longing for my old readers, for my old template and for my old blog that i’ve neglected for ages… and the blow was worsen when i discovered that my most favorite friendster blogger, gail, the author of hallowed be thy sensuality, deleted her own account and together with it was her friendster blog…

i despaired…

i was saddened…

ithought of fallowing the path that gail had threaded…

i was haunted by guilt of abandoning my comrades in this exciting voyage of friendster blogging…

i realized… i was missing you all a lot…

that’s why i am now writing here again… i hope that you will take the pleasure of reading my thoughts, my feelings, my emotions and everything that my head and my heart want to blab… once more
