I gazed at the great expanse before me,
But no matter how I tried, I just can’t really see.
Maybe if I put on my spectacles then finally
I’ll see everything in colored and vividly.
In my pocket my fingers dived,
and rummaged the thing that’s inside.
I pulled from it my seeing glasses,
but I was disappointed for what I discovered.
To use such thing is a waste of time
for I looked for the lenses and it has none.
“What a waste” I finally spoke
This is useless in this haze and smoke.
For a man cannot see with his eyes shut
And so it is with an impaired sense of sight
How can I look forward when my eyes are blind?
What I shall see is as good as what’s behind.

Heh. I feel you bro. Funny, I wrote something that somewhat addresses this matter (check my latest blog). I’ve given my life to God’s hands. Most of the time I’m content with that, but some days, you just wanna know or at least get an idea on where you’re going. It’s hard to keep going without knowing the way but I guess as long as we’re moving forward we’ll be ok. It really is a “leap of faith” for me.
